[Oh sure, getting Ray's gifts was a struggle but to Donnie it's worth it. Which he would tell her, if asked. But she phrased it as a bother, which he didn't find it to be at all. And also he is bad at reading people he has no idea that his words to make her not feel bad have done the opposite.

I fail to understand. I am far more mobile than I was when I was a slime, and more capable of transporting items than I was when I was a shade. It is equally as convenient for me to acquire and bring whatever is deemed necessary.

[When she opens the door and sees him, she wonders why he even asked...but it isn't a problem. Whether they are for snacking or criminal acts, the jellybeans exist. Besides, they could just all be for him. That would make sense.
By this point, she's managed to modify a simple white dress around her back and hip wings -- one of which may or may not be missing actually -- and even with some ill-advised monkeying around some murder traps and a flurry of activity in which she hid all the evidence of her Dr. Frankensteining, Rachel's not feeling too terribly despite still recovering. The much smaller set of wings where her ears should be flap happily in greeting.]
