And I suffer from inaccurate perception that occasionally makes it very difficult to do accurate work as a coroner, yet I have been allowed to remain in charge for several months. We all have our flaws and must work around them, even if these are particularly irritating to you.

This is not the same at all
you know what the problem is and you put systems in place to counteract it
your work aside from that is exceptional
when i am upset and need something to be mine i make sure the animals at home are kept far away from me so I will not kill them like my birdy and puppies...

I did not tell anyone about my perception difficulties until it was already a problem professionally, and your record is far from spotless. There was a time not long ago when we were still learning.
As for myself, I feel that a sense of protectiveness, if a rather bullheaded one, over those he sees as his responsibility as an adult is a far more forgivable flaw than what you or I possess. Be patient with him. He comes from a different time, and his painful past experiences are informing his actions as much as ours do. He means well.

Donnie's space, without him there to claim any of it, has definitely become more like a nest for her.]

Yeah, Donnie fits best there, but he's also prone to a little power madness. [Even if he wanted to lie, he couldn't about that.] I figure us being there could keep him pretty grounded. Keep him safe and not dead as possible.
