I don't know if he'd have any problem with it, exactly... Monsters need to eat, so he wouldn't punish you for that. He'd probably tell you that you have his sympathies, and it must be difficult. Oh, the things he'd fix without her around.
It's more caution than anything. Like you said, you don't want to kill any more than you have to. Dedicating their deaths for this alone leaves less room for interpretation.
[She scrolls through the file with a rising sense of admiration. She already knew that Leo was more on top of things than he gave the impression of, but it's so organized compared to his brain...]
This is great work, Leo. You probably won't be able to do this all the time, at least not for your whole household...but this is an amazing help. Just linking victims to specific monster types can take more work than we have resources for sometimes, especially with some humans disguising their murders as being done by monsters. Between this and being there as a witness, I'll have no trouble at all with these remains. Thanks.
[yeah, just treating them as corpses already, it's fine.]

Yeah, sounds like him tbh. It's a can't cross any wires kind of situation. I guess I just say aloud, "I dedicate this to Elias" and we're good?
No biggie. Glad to make things a little easier for you.
This is a pretty specific kind of situation, so, I think this might be one of the few times I really dig into tracking people before I go after them. I want this to stick. Don't want Elias to try and go 'well, this doesn't count' at me.
Bucky probably could tell you about the guys he gets. He makes a habit of rounding up criminals. Dunno if he actually leaves anything behind, tho.
[Totally normal, Leo doesn't even really notice.]

Without a person's soul, the body remains, alive but unresponsive. If a body is drained completely of energy, it dies. The soul can't survive separated from the body.
If you practice, you might be able to feed without killing eventually. Then you wouldn't have to worry about taking the hunt away from Donnie or him killing before you have a chance to eat.
That would probably work.
[And now...she's half on autopilot because this sure has been a proposal she's had to structure for Some Time Now...]
There are always parts that don't get eaten. Most of the time they get disposed of or donated to the soup kitchen, where they have a chance to serve a purpose. However, it's unlikely that someone with Mr. Bucky's skills would leave something behind as long as it could serve a purpose. It's far more likely that he would salvage what he can, then get rid of any trace he could.
Right now we're trying to work in cooperation with the soup kitchen to recover those parts that can't be used, but by the time it reaches them...the odds of identification are practically nonexistent. Whether he donates portions to the kitchen or not, please tell him that it would be useful if whatever isn't suitable for consumption could be turned over along with any of the victim's personal information and belongings he doesn't wish to take for himself. I'd be happy to collect them from him myself, if that's easiest.
Criminals or not, chances are they have importance to someone. It would be nice to offer those they leave behind some kind of resolution. Any remains at all is better than nothing.
If you could let others know about this sort of thing, as well as encourage interest in helping us at the morgue move away from La Forteresse, I'd appreciate it. If it comes up, I mean.

I'll test it out a little where I can. I know Donnie likes hunting, even if we're mutually pretending I'm unaware at the moment. So, balancing out me feeding and him being able to hunt is going to take a bit of practice.
I'll see what I can do. Knowing Bucky, he's kinda gotten rid of everything really efficiently. I assume it's a whole assassin thing. He hunts a lot.
no subject
Oh, because she's Gamer Girl? I still don't really know what that means though.
Yeah. This would be going forward. We're not interested in getting anyone in trouble, so it shouldn't be a problem, right?
Plus...unless he's doing it for personal reasons, he should be hunting less now.
no subject
I think it should be okay. He's just... very dad and keeps us out of it. I also just kind of don't do great at hunting, so now Donnie and Bucky are both being overly protective.
Tbh, Bucky and Donnie have high hunting drive far as I can tell. Both of them being in the same house means its a lot of collateral.

There's something called laser tag that might be good for them. I don't really know if there's something like that here though. The Cube would definitely be able to make it, but...
no subject
We could try laser tag, but no idea if it'll actually scratch that itch.
Yeaaaah, cube is out until Donnie can be a little less prone to obsessiveness.

It's really too bad. I've never been able to think of more uses for it than when someone important couldn't go in.
no subject
Maybe when he adjusts, you guys could hang out in there? I'm not sure what I think about it. I don't want to pretend to be home and make how I feel worse.
no subject
I never really liked it much...but it's a place where you can (mostly) safely do any activity you want, or access materials to practice building, even if it isn't real. I got to see what Sonic and Donnie look like, and even feel how soft Sonic is when he's in his own body. Except for that, though...I personally don't have a use for it.
no subject
So, it's like monster minecraft. Fair enough. Gotta practice building and pretending in a safe space. I might show Bucky it one day if there is anything I really wanna show him, but, idk.
Was sonic really soft? Gimme a rating here.
no subject
But I love you all the time.
He was! Even if I had to be really careful of his quills. It could have been really bad if I hurt myself. Though a lot of his hair was shorter, so I guess more fuzzy in some parts? But his chest was really really soft. It's kind of like how puppies are softer than dogs, comparing that and the hair around his quills.
10/10 experience, would pet and hug again.
no subject
Now you're making me regret I never petted him in Felfri. Though he probably wouldn't have been down. We're bros, but we haven't gotten that close yet. I wouldn't wanna weird out a same voice bro, you know?

But I'm friends with him and Donnie and I got to pet both of them?
no subject
You're a girl. Its kind of different that way.

[From Rachel "boys are so stupid" Gardner. She's not wrong, though.]

[He's desperately trying to not out his brothers crush. Just side stepping as hard as he can.]
Its mostly the fact toxic masculinity exists, girlie. Most dudes are socially taught to not let many people get touchy with them unless its a girl, family member or romantic partner.
My bros and I kind of skate on that line, we didn't grow up with all of that because we lived in a sewer. We're all naturally pretty touch people. I just also know Donnie doesn't like people really touching him all that much in general. He thinks you're cool, so you're allowed. He'll tell you when he doesn't feel it.
IDK how Sonic would be about me going 'so, bro, can i pet you'. I try to keep boundaries in mind when handling people, even if I like touching and its how I express affection.
no subject
Anyway, Sonic didn't grow up around people, either. I really don't think he would have cared. I think he only really met a human a little before he came here, and that's his dad now.
...You really are a lot alike...
no subject
Same voice bros, same backstory bros, frick yeah.
